The Friends of the Barrington Library sponsor the “Adopt-A-Magazine” program. Donors can “adopt” a magazine that would benefit library patrons greatly. Please make any checks out to: Friends of the Barrington Library and mail them to: 39 Province Lane, Barrington NH 03825 with your magazine choice noted on the check. Please e-mail BLibrary@metrocast.net first to make sure your magazine has not already been adopted. Your name will also be put on the magazine at the library to acknowledge your donation (unless otherwise specified).
Last Chance! The library only has until October 30th to get new library card sign ups which will count toward their $25,000 competition… bring your friends and family today to get a card! You can also apply online at www.barringtonlibrary.com.
The library with the most new cards will win $25,000 from the Robert Finlay Foundation. Barrington residents get free cards, and non-residents can get a card for $40.00 per year.
